Getting Started

After downloading and extracting the Story Creator zip, open Unity and select the extracted folder. More details:

• Extract the zip, open Unity, and select the folder containing "Assets" and "ProjectSettings".
• Load the "StoryCreator – Load Me First (Double Click)" scene from the Project tab.
• Do not run the scene by clicking the Play button. Use the scene only for editing stories.
• Edit or create stories in the "Stories" folder using the Inspector tab.
• Use the export/import buttons to copy stories to House Party (Documents/Eek/HouseParty/Mods/Stories).

Pro Tips:

• Set Unity’s Code Optimization to “Release Mode” for best performance. How to change code optimization
• Don’t edit files outside the “Stories” folder.
• Check out the original stories for examples, or start your own from scratch.
